Mica

Mica

Mica is a group of minerals with a layered structure that easily split into very thin, glossy flakes. Ground into a fine powder, it reflects light and creates a subtle, pearly shimmer.

In cosmetics, mica serves as a pigment and a carrier for other colourants - it adds colour and sheen. You'll find it in our natural soap, where it gives the bar a delicate glow.

Did you know?: Thin, transparent sheets of mica were once fitted into the windows of stoves and lanterns because they didn't crack in the heat.
