Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters
Hydrolyzed jojoba esters
Hydrolyzed jojoba esters are made from jojoba wax, obtained from the seeds of the Simmondsia chinensis shrub. Through hydrolysis, the wax becomes an ingredient that blends well with water, so it can also be used in lightweight creams and lotions.
It forms a delicate, non-greasy film on the skin that helps retain water in the epidermis. It hydrates, smooths and softens the skin, and on the lips it eases the feeling of dryness.
In our cosmetics, you'll find it in face creams, hand cream and lip balms.
Did you know?: Jojoba oil isn't actually an oil but a liquid wax - its structure resembles components of human sebum
