Lavandula Angustifolia Flower Water
Lavender hydrosol
Lavender hydrosol is a floral water obtained during the distillation of flowering stems of true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). It contains the plant's water-soluble compounds and trace amounts of the oil, which makes it much gentler than the essential oil itself.
It refreshes and tones the skin, soothes irritation and redness and helps restore its balance. It works well for sensitive skin as well as oily and combination skin. Use it as a toner, face and body mist or for mixing clays.
In our shop, you'll find it as a standalone organic lavender hydrosol.
Did you know?: A hydrosol is made during the steam distillation of an essential oil - it's the water that condenses together with the oil and retains some of its compounds and scent.
