Cetearyl Glucoside

Cetearyl glucoside

Cetearyl glucoside is an emulsifier obtained from glucose and cetearyl alcohol. It allows the water and oil phases to combine into a lasting emulsion that does not separate over time. It is often used together with cetearyl alcohol, giving creams a pleasant, light texture.

It is gentle and well tolerated, even by sensitive skin. In our cosmetics, you will find it in our moisturising body lotion.

Did you know?: It is made from two plant-based raw materials: sugar (glucose) and fatty alcohols from plant oils - hence the "glucoside" ending in its name
