Mango butter esters (plant-based lanolin alternative)

This ingredient is made by combining mango butter with linoleic acid derivatives. The result is a thick, tacky emollient with properties similar to lanolin, but entirely plant-based.

It forms a flexible film on the skin and lips that reduces water loss and protects against wind and frost. It gives lip balms slip and shine and helps them stay on the lips longer. You will find it in our protective lip balms.
