Sugar cane extract

Sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum) is a tall grass grown in warm climates, best known as a source of sugar. Its extract contains natural glycolic acid and sugars.

In cosmetics, it is often combined with bilberry, sugar maple and citrus extracts into a natural fruit acid complex. This complex gently exfoliates dead skin cells, smooths and refreshes the skin, while the sugars provide extra moisture.
