Porphyra red algae extract

Porphyra umbilicalis is a red alga growing on rocks in the intertidal zone of the North Atlantic. Every day it is flooded by the sea and exposed to sun and wind, so it produces compounds that protect it from drying out and from radiation.

The extract is rich in polysaccharides, amino acids and minerals. It moisturizes and smooths the skin, helps it retain water and supports its protection against external factors.
