Oak root extract
Oak root extract contains polyphenols and tannins - compounds with antioxidant and soothing properties. In our cosmetics it is paired with extract from the bark of the cork oak, which grows in the western Mediterranean.
Oak extracts soothe sensitive and reactive skin, help reduce redness and discomfort, and protect it from the harmful effects of external factors. They nicely complement oxidised corn oil and ceramides.
You will find it in our soothing face serum.
Did you know?: Wine corks are made from the bark of the cork oak. The bark is stripped by hand every few years, and the tree survives - it simply grows new bark.
