True indigo extract

True indigo (Indigofera tinctoria) is a shrub from the legume family, known above all as the source of the blue dye indigo. Its leaves contain flavonoids and other plant compounds valued in skincare.

In cosmetics, indigo extract soothes the skin, calms feelings of irritation and tightness and helps restore its comfort. The extract itself does not stain the skin.
