Hibiscus extract and powder

The hibiscus used in cosmetics is roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa), a plant native to tropical Africa and Asia. Its flowers and fruits contain natural fruit acids, anthocyanins responsible for their intense red colour, polysaccharides and antioxidants.

Hibiscus extract hydrates, refreshes and gently smooths the skin's surface. Anthocyanins help protect it against free radicals. In hair care, it supports hydration and adds shine, while powdered flowers give soap a natural colour.

You'll find hibiscus in our shower gel, micellar water, shampoo bar and soap.

Did you know?: The fleshy calyces of this same hibiscus are brewed into a red tea known in Egypt and Sudan as karkade
