Allura Red (CI 16035)

CI 16035, also known as Allura Red, is a synthetic colourant with an intense red hue. It dissolves in water, so it colours the product evenly.

It has no skincare function - it is responsible solely for the product's appearance. It is used in small amounts permitted under EU regulations. In our range, it gives colour to our shampoo bar and soap.

Did you know?: The same colourant is approved for food as E129 and is used to colour sweets and drinks, among others
