Ceramide NP

Ceramide NP is one of the most important ceramides in the stratum corneum. Together with cholesterol and fatty acids, it forms the "mortar" between cells that determines how well the skin retains water.

In cosmetics, it replenishes lipids in dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin. It keeps the epidermis moisturised, supports the rebuilding of the protective barrier and improves skin elasticity. On the lips, it protects against wind and cold and provides long-lasting comfort.
