Diheptyl Succinate

Diheptyl succinate

Diheptyl succinate is an ester of succinic acid and heptyl alcohol, obtained from plant-based raw materials. It is light, spreads quickly and leaves a silky, dry finish, which is why it is used as a plant-based alternative to silicones.

On hair, it smooths strands, adds shine and makes detangling easier without weighing hair down. You'll find it in our universal hair conditioner and our family shampoo-gel.
