Behenamidopropyl Dimethylamine

Behenamidopropyl Dimethylamine

Behenamidopropyl Dimethylamine is a conditioning agent made from behenic acid derived from plant oils. In the slightly acidic environment of a conditioner it gains a positive charge and attaches to damaged areas of the hair, smoothing the cuticle.

It makes wet and dry detangling easier, reduces static and frizz, and leaves hair soft and shiny without weighing it down. It is also readily biodegradable. In our range you will find it in our smoothing hair conditioner.

Did you know?: Behenic acid, from which it is made, owes its name to ben oil, pressed from the seeds of the moringa tree.
