Arachidyl/Behenyl Betainate Esylate is a cationic conditioning ingredient made by combining betaine with long-chain fatty alcohols. It carries a positive charge, so it is attracted to damaged, negatively charged areas of the hair, forming a thin, smoothing layer on them.
