A makeup remover cloth has to be just right. Not too big, because then it's hard to wash, but not too small either, so you can comfortably cleanse your face and décolletage. Not too thick, or it won't dry properly, but not too thin, because it's meant to last. It can be made from various fibres, but for our very first cloth we chose cotton, since it can be conveniently machine washed together with the rest of your laundry. The colour is a compromise rather than a necessity, but experience has taught us that hiding unsightly, stubborn mascara or lipstick stains makes your daily routine so much more pleasant.

Wash before first use and after every use, by machine or by hand, at up to 60°C. Hang to dry. Do not bleach, do not dry clean with solvents. Iron at the highest temperature.

Method no. 1
Wet the cloth with warm water and gently squeeze out the excess over the sink. Press it against your face, onto which you have already applied and massaged in your makeup remover or cleanser, and wipe away the dissolved impurities with gentle outward strokes, taking care not to stretch the skin. Repeat if needed, rinsing the cloth with water (or soapy water). Use both sides of the cloth if needed.

Method no. 2
Wet the cloth with warm water and gently squeeze out the excess over the sink. Apply a makeup remover such as an oil, milk, gel, balm or foam to the cloth and gently massage your face in circular motions to dissolve makeup and/or impurities. Rinse the cloth with soapy water and wipe your face with the clean, damp cloth to remove any remaining cleanser and impurities. Use both sides of the cloth or rinse it with warm water if needed.
